Mid-Century Modern
We live in a mid-century modern home, built in the 1960s by the West Coast builder, Joseph Eichler.
When we remodeled our kitchen/family room we wanted to include some art from the mid-century modern period. Of course original Picasso, Pollock or Lichtenstein pieces were way, way out of our league. So instead I painted Trio. |

Trio is a diptych. Each of the two panels measures 40 x 30 inches. I used acrylics (for the undercoat) and then oil paints on stretched canvas.
Here is how it looks on our wall. |
